Jeff Greene,

Senior Advisor

Jeff Greene is a Distinguished Fellow with the Aspen Institute's Cybersecurity Program, and most recently served as Executive Assistant Director for Cybersecurity at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. 

Previously, he served as the Chief for Cyber Response & Policy in the National Security Council at the White House. Jeff has held a range of policy and operational roles in cybersecurity, including Director of the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence at the NIST, Vice President of Global Government Affairs and Policy at Symantec, and on the Senate and House Homeland Security Committees. He has served on several cybersecurity boards and commissions, including the Cyber Safety Review Board, NIST’s Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board, and as staff to President Obama’s 2016 Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity. 

Before joining the government, he practiced law at a firm in Washington, D.C.
