About CGA

CGA is a bipartisan consulting firm with experience at the global, national, state, and local levels. Our mission is to assist our clients in the development and implementation of their programs, practices, and policies. We work with government, non-profit organizations, and Fortune 500 companies from around the world.

Since our founding in 2013, CGA has become one of the fastest-growing certified SDVOSB businesses focused on the homeland security, intelligence, and defense community — with special expertise in cybersecurity assessments, strategies, training, and workforce development solutions.

Through client work and partnerships, our team has worked with a host of entities from DEFCON to the White House to foreign governments to large global corporations. CGA has also partnered with academic institutions such as the University of Chicago and national labs including Lawrence Livermore to develop new cyber policies and technologies, as well as work directly with the federal government to bolster cyber workforce growth and fill critical cyber vacancies.

We were founded on bipartisan principles, by three partners from different walks of life: Christopher Burnham, former Under Secretary General for Management of the United Nations, Jane Holl Lute, former DHS Deputy Secretary, and Jake Braun, former DHS-White House liaison. Since then, with a staff and bench of former senior executives that have worked across multiple presidential administrations at the Departments of Homeland Security, State, Commerce, Justice, and Defense – as well as on the Hill, in the White House and with dozens of NGOs – CGA has continued to grow as a respected, trusted voice in "the business of government.”
