Jaclyn Houser, Managing Director

Jaclyn Macek Houser is Managing Director at Cambridge Global and has over two decade’s worth of experience leading campaigns for governments, candidates, companies, and non-profit organizations.  In her current role at Cambridge, she oversees the staff, clients, business operations and long-term development for growth. She also supports numerous clients to elevate their profiles as well as expand their business, grow their customer base, or message effectively with stakeholders.  Through her work on behalf of clients, she has also engaged high profile journalists from more than 100 publications, ranging from the Washington Post, New York Times, MSNBC, NBC, Associated Press, BBC, Reuters, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, and many others from around the world.  

Since joining CGA in 2015, Jaclyn has also worked as the firm’s Director of Business Development and Vice President of Communications & Marketing.

Prior to joining CGA, Jaclyn served as Political and Advocacy Director for the Truman National Security Project, where she oversaw the organization’s political and strategic organizing efforts, including Operation Free – a national, award-winning campaign of more than 5,000 veterans, former military officials and national security leaders advocating for military clean energy and climate change solutions.  She also ran similar campaigns for USAID and nuclear non-proliferation NGOs.  As part of her work with Truman, Jaclyn was the caretaker for more than $2 million in annual grant funding and private donor support.

Her political campaign portfolio includes serving as Campaign Director for 2012 Congressional candidate Teresa Hensley in Missouri’s 4th District where she oversaw all field, fundraising, communications and political operations. She also served as a Regional Field Director with John Kerry’s 2004 Presidential bid in Michigan. For the last 15 years, Jaclyn has continued to work closely with the Democratic party committees on various communications and grassroots organizing efforts.

From 2010-2012, working for the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA), Jaclyn acted as press liaison for the half-million member union and managed all media efforts to support LIUNA’s organizing and political campaigns in the U.S. and Canada.  Prior to that, she served as Director of Marketing & Communications at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner (GQR), a Democratic polling firm with clients in more than 80 countries around the world. While at GQR, Jaclyn directed all marketing, communications, and brand management for the firm, while also heading up the publication and promotional book tour of CEO Stan Greenberg’s international-selling book, Dispatches from the War Room.

Jaclyn lives in Annapolis, MD with her husband and two super cute kiddos. She holds a Masters in Public Policy from George Washington University and a B.A. in Social Relations from Michigan State University.
